Maya is the son of the origin of Makassar who started music career in 1994 in the city of Makassar and joined in the band "Apache". Apache perform routine from cafe to cafe and jga as an opening band and escort big groups at that time as Slank, Kla Project, Gigi and others. In 1996, Maya moved to Jakarta to develop the potential of existing Apache with a gig together in various pubs and cafes and unfortunately did not last long as a result the dissolution of the Apache.
Social antecedent intertwine with Pay BIP during in Jakarta gave a lot of influence on the musical career of Maya. Maya along with several other personnel tried to form the group "Retro" which unfortunately did not last long. In 1998 Maya managed to re-form the band The band Spring released an album under the label of Universal Music Indonesia (UMI), which for release mid-2003. Lobow active as a songwriter for several singers in Indonesia such as Ari Lasso, Adi Naff, Rita Effendi, Maya jg make a song for Titi Kamal who will soon be released and will be circulated Dlm form of digital music. Now Maya comes back to the concept of a solo album which was produced by BIP and Fadly Padi Pay Lobow song entitled "ONE" has been included in the compilation album widescreen movie "Chocolate Strawberries," which has been released in early June 2007 together with Ungu, Naff , Bob Marley and Alphabeat. Hopefully with the presence Lobow album could provide an option to the listener with hope for the works on this album have a place in the hearts of listeners
