Alexa is a homage to the power pop band consisting of five persons, namely Aqi, Rizki, Satrio, JMono and Jar. Satrio himself is a former jazz guitarist Indonesia, Maliq & D'Essentials, whereas the ex-sessionist JMono from Parkdrive, Aqi is ex-vocalist Tickets, Rizki joined in the Sweet Jar Polianthes Songwritting Team and still with the band Stepforward Hardcorenya. The band was originally a project of Satrio and JMono. Released their debut album in 2008 with the hit singles Alexa titled Never Gone.

History
Alexa history began from the friendship and JMono Satrio. Satrio which is the ex-guitarist Maliq n D'Essentials and JMono which is a session bassist of several bands including Parkdrive had the idea to create a musical project they dream long ago. To realize the plan they made some songs that would become the basic concept of the music they want. By taking the base of the rock music is background music at the beginning of their musical careers, they made some songs and finally met with some of their friends who are considered suitable for supporting the music. Rizki incorporated in the Sweet Polianthes songwriting team in the position of the guitar, drummer Dawn Aqi Stepforward and had joined the ticket agrees to join in this musical project.
